Payment on Account Can Be Delayed
Remember your personal tax July 2020 payment on account can be delayed
To our EasyBooks Self-Assessment clients.
This is just a quick reminder that the Self-Assessment tax 2nd payment on account due Friday, 31st July 2020 can be delayed until 31st Jan 2021 to assist cash-flow after the effects of Covid 19.
How do we delay payment? – all you need to do is not make the payment and you will not be charged interest or a penalty.
Plus, you DO NOT need to let HMRC know that you are taking up the delayed payment option, as they will make that assumption if no payment is received.
However, do please remember to make the additional payment with the January one as after that date interest will be charged.
