A Reminder to All Our Clients
Once again, can we remind you that our office is not open to the public.
Unfortunately, also at present we cannot have a ‘quick chat’ with you in the foyer to discuss your accounts. If you need to speak to your accounts manager, please call them at the office or send them an email.
We do appreciate your understanding and co-operation at this time.
Have you changed any of your contact details in the last 3 months? If so, you need to keep us in the loop too of any changes to your contact information.
This will include when you move to a new home, change your landline or mobile number, change your email address.
If you have moved to a new house or even just about to move to a new house, please get in touch and let us know. Once you are all settled in and those dreaded bills find you again, we will need a new proof of address.
When you become a client of EasyBooks you will be asked for your Photo ID and Proof of Address and we ask for these documents so as to comply with the Anti-Money Laundering Regulations which we are governed by law to follow. We are registered with HMRC and they visit on occasion to check that we are following the rules. If we do not follow their procedure, we are liable to receive a hefty fine.
Therefore, as part of their rules, when your Photo ID expires, we are required to contact you for a new one and if you move to a new home, we will need a new Proof of Address as soon as possible.
We have a list of clients of whom we will be in contact soon to request a new Photo ID. Check your passport and driving licence because it could be you.
If you need to renew your driving licence, please try and complete it on-line. The DVLA is operating as normal in this way and there is no back log. If you send it by post this may take much longer as there are limited staff at the DVLA building to deal with this at present. The extension scheme has now ended.
Our online services have not been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and are running as normal.
Are you a company with directors or a charitable company/charity with trustees?
Have any of the directors or trustees resigned? Have you appointed a new director or a new trustee? If the answer is yes to any of these questions, please can you get in touch and tell us about any changes that may have occurred within the last year.
If any of the current directors/trustees Photo ID’s have expired, we will be in touch to ask for new ones. If any addresses have changed, we will also need a new Proof of Address. Please don’t forget to let us know when these changes happen.
We want to say a BIG Congratulations to Chloe for passing her final AAT level 4 exam. which now makes her a fully qualified Accounts Technician.
Chloe’s exams had been delayed due to Covid-19 but she was able to sit the exams at her college with all the Covid safety procedures in place. What a fantastic achievement.

We also want to encourage two other team members, Calvin and Benjamin who are working hard and learning new skills on the job whilst studying for exams. Keep going, all the hard work will be worth it.
