* Virtual Cabinet
Please Note this Deadline has now passed. Thank you.
EasyBooks Self-Assessment Deadline
You may have missed the first deadline but don’t miss the second.
If you bring your paperwork in now, we can still guarantee your Tax Return will be submitted on time and you won’t receive a late penalty fee.
As soon as you’ve gathered all your relevant paperwork together bring it in to us at our offices in the North Dock as soon as you can. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Any work brought in after this date will receive an additional 20% charge to the total of their final invoice.
Please note that we are not obligated to chase people individually for paperwork.
Thank you in advance.
I’m sure we’ve all heard something if not a lot about GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) and the need for it to be in everyone’s place of work. Therefore, due to the new GDPR rules we have stepped up our game when it comes to sharing confidential information, we now have new software available for all our clients called Virtual Cabinet. Unfortunately, it’s not a make-believe wardrobe to Narnia but it is all about going digital.
This new software will allow us to send your files securely and you send us files equally securely. Each client will need to register to gain access to their portal where you will be able to see all the files that have been uploaded for you.
When a file is uploaded to your portal you will receive an email to prompt you to sign in. When you receive your first email you will be able to register and create a password.
The type of documents that we can send to you will be your tax returns, which you can view and sign electronically to send back to us. You will also be able to upload documents to send to us. This is all done securely through your client portal.
Please note that if you are not technically savvy (as they say) or simply do not wish to use the Virtual Cabinet and remain using/sending/receiving paperwork by post or in person we still offer that service.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standardise data protection law across all 28 EU countries and imposes strict new rules on controlling and processing personally identifiable information (PII). It also extends the protection of personal data and data protection rights by giving control back to EU residents. GDPR replaces the 1995 EU Data Protection Directive and goes into force on May 25, 2018. It also supersedes the 1998 UK Data Protection Act.
Thought of the day…
Careful planning puts you ahead in the long run;
hurry and scurry puts you further behind.
